SOULWAX-MUCH AGAINST EVERYONE'S ADVICE

$36.95

While perhaps more known around these parts for their DJing, Belgium’s Soulwax were also a going concern in the indie rock world. Their second release, 1998’s Much Against Everyone’s Advice runs from folktronica to the grunge-y title track to strummy britpop like ‘The Salty Knowledge Of Tears’. An eclecticism that drew comparisons to the similarly minded Beta Band. It also includes the eponymous and presumably tongue-in-cheek rockist lament ‘Too Many DJs’ from which the brothers Dewaele’s more dance-oriented project got its name. This special vinyl edition was originally slated for the UK’s Love Record Stores 4 event.
