In 1986, while serving in the US Marines, he independently released "Feel My Bass," a track that would eventually become closely associated with breakdance culture and competitions around the world.

What began as an independent release became something considerably larger, surviving decades away from the spotlight through the enthusiasm of listeners who continued to share it, discuss it, and keep its memory alive online. His partnership with Beat Junkies founder J.Rocc resulted in "Feel My Bass, Reloaded," released on 22 March, a modern reworking of the track that started everything.
