LOS BOCUCOS & LOS VAN VAN-MI QUIMBIN/Y QUE SE SEPA 7"

The inaugural release from Luchando Music! This highly anticipated 7-inch, 45 RPM vinyl single features two massive, long-lost 1970s Cuban dancefloor killers.

Side A: Los Bocucos – "Mi Quimbín" (Composed by José "Pepe" Couto)
Side B: Los Van Van – "Y Que Se Sepa" (Composed by Juan Formell)

Sourced directly from the original master recordings in the Egrem archive, this marks the first-ever re-release of the original "Mi Quimbín". For decades, this explosive, syncopated groove was loved globally as a salsa and B-Boy anthem under the name "Que se sepa" (famously covered by Roberto Roena), but its true Cuban origins and author were stripped away.

Mastered for vinyl, this 7" is a powerful, heavy-hitting weapon for any DJ's bag. Furthermore, a portion of the proceeds from this record will go directly to Pepe Couto's family.
