TORI AMOS-STRANGE LITTLE GIRLS
In 2001 Tori Amos released a unique collection of cover versions, STRANGE LITTLE GIRLS. No stranger to putting her own individual stamp on other writers’ songs, what made STRANGE LITTLE GIRLS so different was the conceptual nature of the project, where she tackled 12 songs written by men, interpreted them from her own unique persecutive. This included unusual takes of songs originally recorded by a wide variety of artists, including Eminem, Slayer and The Stranglers. The original 12 track album has now been bolstered with four extra bonus tracks not on the original release; Alice Cooper’s "Only Women Bleed," "David Bowie’s After All," plus two unreleased songs, Bruce Springsteen’s "Growin’ Up" and Elvis Costello’s "Hoover Factory."
